It’s been a busy week! To finish off we visited a client in Royal Sutton Coldfield. They had an Intercom/ Gate Control System fitted 18 Months ago by a different installer. The system stopped working 3 weeks ago so they contacted the installer, who came out and told them it would cost £800 to fix, then charged them £80 for a callout.
Jellybean Technology were recommended to them and we visited today. We found that the original equipment had been incorrectly installed. Water had damaged the internal components of the system due to the battery cover not being installed, and no gasket fitted.
We have sourced a new gate intercom and will be installing next week for a fraction of the cost that they have been quoted.
